Position Description:

The position is for candidates who possess an excellent understanding of application platforms and can contribute to the projects below thereby enabling EVN consulting clients to have a mature application security framework.
The successful candidate will perform application security risk assessments, code reviews, and SDLC consulting.
Projects may include:
Performing application vulnerability assessments / penetration testing
Performing code review across a variety of programming languages
Performing assessments of SDLC processes
Developing testing scripts and procedures
Other security-related projects that may be assigned according to skill

Requirements:

The successful candidate MUST meet the following requirements:
Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in business and information security
Proficient English language written and oral communication skills
Understanding and familiarity with common code review methods and standards
Experience with code scanning toolsets such as Fortify and Ounce
Knowledge of OWASP tools and methodologies
Understanding of HTTP and web programming
Knowledge of common security requirements within ASP.NET application
Knowledge of standard SDLC practices
Minimum of 3 years work experience in application security
Minimum of 5-7 years of IT or software development experience
Ability to complete tasks and deliver professionally written reports for clients
Ability to present findings to technical staff and executives
Should be willing to travel on assignments
Possess current security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH)
Must be able to pass a background check

Optional Requirements:

The successful candidate should meet these additional requirements as a plus:

Degree in either Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management
Experience working in software development
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Nexpose, Saint)
Experience with web application vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., IBM AppScan, HP Webinspect, Accunetix, NTO Spider, Burpsuite Pro)
Experience with static analysis tools (e.g., IBM Appscan Source, HP Fortify)
Experience with high level programming languages (e.g., Java, C, C++, .NET (C#, VB))
Experience with web application development (e.g., ASP.NET, ASP, PHP, J2EE, JSP)

Position Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible to advise and implement network related projects for EVN consulting clients. The successful candidate will have strong technical and analytical skills and be motivated to contribute to the continued development of an information security organization for clients.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide subject matter expertise on the latest attacker and malware trends
Conduct risk assessment of network / security environments for clients - covering design and architecture, VA / PT etc.
Work with incident management teams for handling any attacks on customers infrastructure
Provide expert network security guidance and malware analysis to customers
Maintain effective, proactive communication with active and prospective clients, to include explanations of complex technical data and information to both technical and non-technical entities as required

Requirements:

The successful candidate should meet these requirements:
Degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field
Proficient English language written and oral communication skills
Minimum of 3 years of IT security experience
Should have excellent knowledge and working experience in networks and security technologies like UTMs, Fierwall, VPNs and IPS.
Security certifications, such as CEH, GCIH or any SANS certification in security technologies are desired Knowledge of, and experience with, TCP/IP protocols and packet analysis using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump Solid programming skills with scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl or Python would be an added advantage Deep working knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, IRC, RPC, DNS, etc.
Experience with reverse engineering tools, such as IDA Pro or OllyDbg Knowledge of hacking tools and techniques (buffer overflows, ARP poisoning, browser attacks, phishing/spamming, DNS poisoning, MetaSploit, nmap, Nessus)
Position requires travel to client sites
Must be able to pass a background check

The successful candidate will perform Risk assessments, ISO 27001 certification, PCI- DSS and PA- DSS certifications.
Projects may include:
Performing ISO 27001 certification programs
Performing PCI - DSS or PA - DSS certification programs
Performing Risk assessment of the client environment
Developing information security policy, procedures and guidelines.
Assist clients in managing and maintaining their Information security programs.
Other security-related projects that may be assigned according to skills

Requirements:

Knowledge of standard SDLC practices

Possess current security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CEH
Must be able to pass a background

Optional Requirements:

The successful candidate should meet these additional requirements as a plus: Degree in either Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management Experience working in consulting firms doing process certifications Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Nessus, Nexpose, Saint) would be added advantage .
